Palmet is awarded 10.000 m2 of Raised Floor Systems in this prestigious new development.
Palmet wins further Protection System Contracts for the new wing of Renault Bursa Factory, encompassing Reliable Sprinklers and Valves. Renault is Palmet’s oldest customer with contracts stretching back to 1984.
Palmet was awarded the Facility Management Contract for over 1000 BTS Telecom Sites in the Marmara Region of Turkey from Turkcell
Palmet receives a Design Build Contract Award from Bloomberg’s to build its Data Centre in the Istanbul Kanyon Building, encompassing Denco Air Conditioners, Flopal Raised Floors, Hygood FM200, Tracetek Water Detection Systems, VESDA Early Warning Alarm Systems, GEA Perimeter Heaters and Fan Coils.
Palmet is awarded the Fire Protection Contract for the Bolu Tunnel Projects and installs a Ductile Hydrant Line, Pump Sets and Hose Reel Extinguishing Systems.
Palmet continues its long-term relationship with Turkcell and is re-awarded a planned Maintenance and Service Contract to look after the Denco Ai Conditioning and FM200 Fire Systems in all of their regional Switch Rooms (MSC’s).
2004 – 2005 Pakistan Paktel
As a result of Palmet’s considerable success in Pakistan, Paktel, a Millicom company and one of the oldest GSM Operators in Pakistan, concluded a contract with Palmet to expand their existing Network by providing Site Acquisition, Technical Site Surveys, Tower and Shelter Supplies, Construction and Implementation of over 200 ZTE supplied BTS Stations in the Central and Northern Regions of Pakistan. This project was signed in January 2005 and was concluded early in 2006.

Palmet wins its largest ever contract award from Türk Telekom to supply over 600 Denco Close Control Air Conditioning Systems to be installed throughout Turkey.
Palmet was awarded a major Data Centre Infrastructure Package for Havelsan Ankara Centre encompassing HVAC, Power and Architectural Systems.
2002 Tubitak-Ume
Palmet successfully concluded an order for the Design, Installation and Commissioning of 98 sets of highly specialized Close Control Air Conditioning Systems for Tubitak’s brand new Testing Laboratories. It total, there were 72 Rooms, including EMC Rooms, Standards Centre, Anechoic Chambers, Electronic Test Beds, Seismic Test Facilities and numerous Clean Rooms.

2002 Palmet/Nortel Networks Joint Venture
Largest single contract awarded to date for 2000+ BTS Stations, Palmet took responsibility for Site Acquisition, Engineering, Logistics, LOS, Supply of Towers, Shelters and all Accessories, Implementation, Integration and First Line Maintenance.

Palmet successfully relocated Oytek from its existing Facility to a purpose-built Centre in Istanbul, the whole move took 6 weeks from the date of order receipt and at no stage did Oytek suffer any downtime.
Palmet’s scope was to provide Full Electrical Power Systems including Transformers, Power Distribution Systems, UPS, Generators, Auto Transfer Switching, Security Access, Lighting, Earthing and features included High Security Zones, Penthouse Suites, Restaurants, Call Centres and is one of the largest Technology Data Centres in Turkey.

Palmet received one of the largest orders ever placed in the Close Controlled Air Conditioning Industry Worldwide. It was for the Supply, Installation and 2 years of Maintenance Services for 2250 Close Controlled Air Conditioning Systems. They were built in Denco’s UK and newly opened Turkish Manufacturing Centres. They were for Turk Telecom’s Fixed Line Regional Exchanges located throughout Turkey.
